Albuquerque: Bursting with Excitement

With its population growing bigger each year, Albuquerque is the fastest-growing city in the state. Situated in the central part of the state, Albuquerque straddles the Rio Grande, which flows through the city from north to south. The Sandia Mountains run along the eastern side of the city. Local museums, galleries, shops, and other points of interest include the Albuquerque Museum of Art and History, the Museum of Natural History and Science, and Old Town Albuquerque. The city also offers residents plenty of live music and performance venues, such as Isleta Amphitheater, Tingley Coliseum, Sunshine Theater, and the KiMo Theater. For a taste of the great outdoors, spend time in sought-after destinations like Los Altos Park and Guadalupe Park.
